Tik Tok could trigger new US regulations

The United States recently proposed new regulations to prevent sensitive data of local users from being transmitted to China🇨🇳

The U.S. Department of Justice proposed new regulations on October 21, which will prohibit transactions with data intermediaries that know that data will flow into these countries, aiming to prevent U.S. government personnel data and American privacy data from flowing into these countries.

The report pointed out that video platforms with Chinese backgrounds may also violate regulations, such as TikTok, because if they transmit sensitive data of American users to their Chinese parent companies, they may violate this regulation.
